In collaboration with the Sustainable Business Network, CIFAL Istanbul, UNITAR, and Bahçeşehir University, the “Sustainability Communication and Sectoral Leadership on the COP31 Agenda” event was held at Bahçeşehir University on 17 September 2026, bringing together sector leaders and communication professionals to discuss the evolving role of sustainability communication.
The event opened with welcoming remarks by Prof. Dr. Çisil Sohodol, Director of CIFAL Istanbul. Semra Sevinç, Board Member of the Sustainability Academy, Co-Chair of the Sustainable Business Network, highlighted the role of corporate communication professionals in advancing credible and impactful sustainability communication.
