Irine Imerlishvili has been appointed as the rector of BAU International University Batumi. We wish her success in her new role.
Mrs. Irine Imerlishvili holds a Doctorate in Law and has served in several high-ranking positions, including Member of the Parliament of Georgia, Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia, Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, and Judge of the Constitutional Court. She has extensive experience in the public sector, as well as in academia and legal practice.
The university held an introductory meeting with administrative and academic staff, during which Mrs. Imerlishvili discussed the university’s development priorities.
