On June 26, 2026, BAU International University Batumi, in partnership with Tbilisi State Medical University, officially opened the international scientific-practical conference titled “Challenges of Radiation Safety and Protection in Medicine in Georgia.”
The conference was opened with welcoming remarks by the Rector of BAU International University Batumi, Irine Imerlishvili, the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Mikheil Sarjveladze, the Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Irakli Natroshvili and the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Zviad Gabisonia.
The event brought together local and international experts, researchers, academic professionals, and students, serving as a valuable platform for academic discourse, professional collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge and innovative perspectives.
