Bahçeşehir Cyprus University Faculty of Tourism academic staff member Dr. Cathrine Banga took part in the 7th Conference on Managing Tourism Across Continents (MTCON’26), held in Antalya, Türkiye, where she presented her paper titled “Tourism, the Underrated Giant: Why It Is Still Undervalued.”
In her presentation, Dr. Cathrine addressed the significant yet often underestimated contribution of tourism to economic and social development. Her research attracted the attention of international researchers and participants and contributed to the academic discussions held throughout the conference.
