High quality holistic assessment methods and tools have been developed for evaluating STEM knowledge, skills and competencies via the integration of different disciplines through project based learning. These tools have been presented to the use of teachers and students via mobile applications as digital education platforms with easy and user-friendly interfaces, as well as printed versions. These holistic methods and tools support individual and group work and offer insights on 21st century knowledge, skills and competencies of students. Tools such as innovative online admission processes are developed to increase diversity, equity and inclusion in high quality STEM education, where students are evaluated based on their portfolios including social responsibility and science projects, scores on online examinations measuring higher order thinking skills in mathematics, science and language, interview performances and dreams in pursuing a STEM infused career.
